For aspiring mangaka, Wally Wood’s 22 Panels That Always Work!! (Click the image to view full-size) Keep your stories interesting through creative use of different panel layouts.
While creating each panel the same will give you a boring story, vary your panels appropriately. Don’t throw in a different panel layout just to be different! It will come across as a gimmick and will take away from the flow of the story.
Use a variety of panels to lead the reader through the story!
